I just started up my claw a1m and there was in the center M 2 updates, 1 for the center M and 1 for the bios. My husband says i shouldn’t do a bios update unless there are problems. But I wonder if this philosophy counts for handhelds too. I was told to always do every update that appears in center M.

When updating please follow guides provided from MSI, especially the BitLocker guideline on the download page.
I personally recommended temporarily disabling BitLocker/drive encryption before updating any BIOS/UEFI.
I also highly recommend temporarily disabling “only allow Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts on this device”

Hey everyone!
First off, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been supporting me, especially over these past few days. Your positive energy has been incredible, and it really means a lot to me.
So, here it is: the MSI Claw optimization guide. To make sure I could cover everything properly without making the video too long, I’ve decided to split it into two parts. This is Part 1, dedicated to BIOS optimization, and it’s all for you.
A quick but important note: these optimizations will most likely work for other MSI Claw models, and could even be useful for other handheld PCs as well.
I’m showing you the exact, step-by-step process I used on my own device. This is the same optimization I used in my game test videos to get those high frame rates.
you do not need to spend 1000 to 1500 dollars just to get good fps. this device has good price to performance and with right optimizations , it's pretty good
English is not my first language, so my speaking style is a bit slow — wanted to keep it clear for everyone. Thanks for your patience, and enjoy the guide!
Thanks again for all your support. If you have any suggestions, or if there’s a specific game you’d like me to test on this device, please let me know in the comments below.
Your support is what will help me release Part 2—which covers Windows optimization and is a crucial part of this guide—even faster!

So i made this post since no one made review with the new bios. Very surprising it bring some nice performance improvements in CPU,GPU performance and power behaviour!
First i tested it in Forza Horizon 4.
Here is performance with previous BIOS which is E1T41IMS.10D.
*note: Both in old vs new BIOS are tested with 38w PL1/PL2 TDP with the same CPU boost tune.
Now with new BIOS.
While average FPS is the same but as you can see both has different graph. In the new BIOS graph looks way smoother because lows FPS is way higher, which resulting in much smoother gameplay because of less frame drops.
Another interesting test is when i tested old vs new BIOS with default Intel boost clocks. Here is what i got
Now with the new BIOS.
With old BIOS it really struggle to reach 50 FPS but also more stuttering count while the new BIOS almost can get 60 FPS which is great because you don't even need to do tuning to reach this performance. However with CPU tune it still give best results!
Second game tested is Shadow of The Tomb Raider.
Here is performance with previous BIOS which is E1T41IMS.10D.
*note: Both in old vs new BIOS are tested with 38w PL1/PL2 TDP with the same CPU boost tune.
Now tested with the new BIOS.
This one got huge improvements!
Old BIOS got 51 FPS vs 54 FPS on the new BIOS. While difference of both in average FPS isn't big, however if you see at total frames rendered it shows massive improvements. Also the new BIOS got 30 FPS higher on minimum CPU render which is great! This game runs much more smoother now!
During my test, i see the Ultra 7 155H need less power now to reach the same average FPS. In FH4 with old BIOS it can easily averaging 38-40w. Now with new BIOS it only draws power 36w on average, it barely need to stay at 38w+.
I found BIOS E1T41IMS.10E works best with the latest Intel Arc drivers.
So it is worth to upgrade BIOS? Absolutely!!!
Updated to the latest bios 10F day before yesterday. Since then the OSD and quick settings have been messed up. All Intel drivers are updated. Windows is 23H2. On pressing the button the overlay comes up for a few seconds and then disappears and cannot be interacted with. If I open the game bar app then they're all visible and it works. Will try a few things before thinking about firmware reinstall and bios downgrade and will update here. If anyone has similar issues and solutions please share.
I just received the new E1T41IMS.10D BIOS update. Does anyone have any details about it? The last BIOS was released in May with a lot of hype because it greatly improved performance but we don't know anything about this new one.
Just booted up my Claw and a new MSI Center M update was available, along with BIOS 109, which can now be updated directly from MSI Center M!
Hi guys,
as I never have done it by myself I was wondering, how the BIOS should be properly updated, as apparently the latest BIOS update improved efficiency and performance noticebly;
I tried to download the latest BIOS Update myself, but when trying to run, it it doesn't start the process, as probably it thinks I already have the newest version installed...
And I wondered how it actually got installed, and if I really got the newest version installed at all, as I'm still missing a VRAM allocation setting in there... Or is this option available anywhere else? Does anyone know? 😮
Do we normally receive the BIOS updates automatically by the Center M driver updates, or the Intel driver updates possibly?
Many questions around that stuff 😅😋
