Two weeks notice as a contractor for Apex Systems?
Anyone work at Apex Systems?

Thoughts on Apex Systems?
I am nearing the end of two years contracting with Apex Systems. Contract ends June 30. I am planning to move to a new state at the end of May with my fiancé for her new job and my site manager has known about it for the last month or so. He is supportive and even tried to get me clearance to work fully remotely for the month of June to close out the project.
Last week I received a job offer in the new location, starting June 3. I informed my site manager yesterday, who was receptive to the news and wants to plan the project handover over the next two weeks before I leave. I was preparing to reach out and let my agency contact know, but now I am reading horror stories online of contract employees being walked out the day they provide their agency a two week notice instead of being allowed to work that time.
Has anyone heard of this happening with Apex? I want to be transparent, but I also want to work the next two weeks and get paid. I work in a laboratory, not in IT or administration. Is it safe to assume that if my site is aware of the situation and willing to support me for the rest of the time that Apex will not terminate my contract upon notice? It seems kind of dumb for them to do that and miss out on two weeks of commission.
Thanks for your input!
