Is anyone aware of Watch List functionality changes again recently (from June/July 2023 onwards)?

Tried searching Ebay's help section, and Googling it, but no info found. Also tried phoning Ebay to advise of the issues... but they don't take anything seriously, do they.

Has anyone else noticed these two new problems:

1} When items in one of your Watch Lists end, they are then (sometimes or always?) being auto-removed from the watchlist.

This is really annoying, as surely buyers use their various watchlists to compare the price previous similar items sold for or to see other comparisons of differences between similar items, as well as track completely new re-listings vs. an older listing of the same item by the same seller. Having items remove, means this is now impossible.

2} Seemingly, you cannot add ended items to Watch Lists anymore?

Again highly annoying, as buyers find ended listings via the search, add items to a watchlist to compare later, or to compare to a newer live listing in future. Now, while the item page shows as being added to X watchlist, when checking the actual watchlist itself they haven't been added to the watchlist so aren't on it?!

What the heck is going on here – why would Ebay remove such basic features, which makes the tracking of potential purchases even harder to do now?

Hence me asking if others have Watch List issues here... I can't work out if these are supposed to be features or bugs...?

Everything in my watch list has just increased by 2.72 GBP. About 30 items... All from different sellers. No codes or anything for discounts so it doesn't look like a sales tactic ebay has auto applied.

Hello, in my eBay I can no longer see the watched items. Did they put it elsewhere?

I click on 'Add to Watchlist,' it changes to 'Watching' yet the item does not show up in my watchlist. This has happened with a few items but not all, other items will appear on my watchlist

Android mobile. I had about 10 items on my watchlist for the past week, checking the app about 2x a day for any item updates, especially auctions. I opened the app this evening and all my watchlist items were gone. Just disappeared. For sale items were still there, but nothing on my watchlist. Anyone have this issue? Idk if this was an automatic update that did this but it's never happened before.

Haven't been on anything so none of it is going to be in my "Bids & Offers" tab. Can't look things up on my "recently viewed" either because I always clear those out. 😑
