I just want to logon and pay my bill I keep getting verification code sent to my phone. Then I entered the code and it goes back to the logon screen.

One big circle.

Target you suck. What bank needs a week to fix or upgrade a system. It was supposed to be up 3/18 12 am cst

A week-long downtime for upgrade is insane in 2025. And then to not have the site work...you really have to wonder about competence.

I went to log in to see what options are now available since they took away the alerts to tell you your bills not paid. It said my log in was invalid. It keeps telling me I don’t exist when I try doing a forget password option. If I try the forget username, same thing. It gave me a number to call and I tried. I selected keypad options and the system said it didn’t recognize the options I was pressing. I tried a different number option and it finally went through. 55 minute wait time. I hung up. I’m not doing this today.

However I can’t purchase anything online because it needs me to verify with the card number, and I don’t currently have access to the number besides the last 4 digits. I know I can get a new card, but I was just seeing if it was possible to get the card number some other way before I get a new one. Thanks!

Does anyone else have this issue with the target redcard/circlecard , when trying to make a payment online there is literally no payment option available and whenever i pay by phone it’s a 50/50 chance they take the funds from my checking account and when they don’t they hit me with a returned payment fee when ik the funds are available🤦‍♂️

it’s like the only way im guaranteed of getting my payment to go through is when i do it in store

i’ve contacted both targets redcard support number and my bank , target was basically no help telling me the payment option on the website should be on the main menu but it’s literally not… and my bank is saying there’s no reason the payments should not be going through

You can do bill pay with your bank and just send TD Bank the payment. You may be able to walk into a TD Bank branch and make the payment if you have those near you, not 100% sure about their branded cards.

I don't understand. I use Target all the time. You login and it has your balance info and there's a red button under that on the left that says Pay Now. Are you using this website? https://rcam.target.com/

I mean, I've scanned all my items, of had them scanned, then entered my phone number associated with the red card account — total does not change. I pay with the red card. Total does not change.

Wherein lies this supposed 5% off of everything or any other discounts?

If you’re shopping in-store, I would suggest asking a sales associate for help. I’ve never had any problems getting the 5% discount, it applies automatically as long as I scan my red card (I scan the barcode on my Target app) and pay with my red card. The 5% discount shows up when I pay. Or for online orders, you can see the 5% discount in your cart.

You only get the discount when you pay with the card. Not just being a cardholder. Scan your items, your circle coupons and whatever, pay with a red card. The receipt will reflect a 5% discount. It doesn't show up anywhere on the POS. At least that I've noticed.

Hi! I'm currently pregnant with my first kid. I live within walking distance to target and it's my go to store for baby and household things (not groceries though.)

I know store cards have very high interest rate but I would be very careful to not carry a balance each month.

Is the 5% discount worth it or should I just use another card?

I have the credit card version. It was one of my first cards. We use it very frequently. If you go to target, I don’t see a reason not to. It also takes the 5% off at the register making it better than a regular 5% cash back card since it’s instant and you don’t have to wait a month for the reward. I don’t like debit cards in general but I could see why someone would prefer the debit version. I would still pick the credit over the debit today. Edit: took out my miscalculation on the tax savings.

The debit card version is absolutely worth considering.

Is anyone else facing the same issue? I haven't shopped at Target in months. Bought some stuff last month and now trying to payoff via website. Every time I try to log in to "mytargetcirclecard.target.com", it asks me to perform multifactor authentication and then shows this error: Oops! Something went wrong. Please refresh your screen or try back in a bit.

Update: Resetting password via a browser which has no extensions, ad blocks etc. did the trick for me. Thank you to all those who suggested this below :)

There was a system outage for a bit today. It’s the first day of circle week. Try waiting until tomorrow, going in store, or call them to pay by phone (shouldn’t be a charge if you let them know online was down).
