My free Netflix promo from last year just expired, and I'm wondering whether I can take advantage of the current promotion to get Netflix for free by purchasing Paramount Plus.

I just did mine this morning. I did the amc last year and when I attempted to re-up with paramount it said I already used the offer. I waited until today which is when the amc subscription ended and I was able to redeem paramount.

edit3: My expiration was 12/15, I had Netflix chat support remove my old CC info the day before and noon PT today they sent an email saying I need to add a payment method. Netflix Account details changed and no longer had any mention of Verizon so I was able to activate another year deal through +play. Once you create an account with whichever service you picked (step 1) make sure to go back into +play and manage your Netflix to Activate with them as well (step 2). Netflix Account immediately updated and reverted back to with Verizon. WARNING AND HEADS UP (edit2) - NETFLIX STILL HAS YOUR PAYMENT INFO FROM A YEAR AGO SAVED AND HIDDEN. While on the Verizon deal your Netflix Account Settings will not display your prior saved Payment Methods and will not let you edit or remove them yourself. Even if you cancel through Verizon play so you don't get charged monthly through Verizon, Netflix will revert back to your credit card or whatever billing you used and attempt to charge it directly after the deal expires. You can have the saved card information removed by contacting Netflix chat support but you do have to know what the card number was. Otherwise if the card is still active and billed you will need to contact support to cancel the new monthly subscription before attempting another Verizon deal. (Original Post) The wordage keeps saying no current subscription with Netflix through +play. Saw deals for Paramount+ and Disney+ recently, wondered if Netflix gets any throughout the year?

I've never seen any and at 6$ it's the only one we actually resubscribed to after cancelling everything.

I did the NFL+ with a year of Netflix last year and wanted to take advantage of the Paramount+ with a free year of Netflix this year. I was able to get it to work but had to jump through some hoops. So I thought it might help to drop some info here for others.

Cancel the Netflix on Verizon as well as on Netflix itself. If you do not then you may have issues as they may charge your regular credit card. That happened to me.
If you already have Paramount+ and are trying to go that option then you also need to cancel it early enough that it will be expired when the Netflix expires. Otherwise you will have to create a new Paramount+ account as you can't activate on an active account. I had that happen to me.
Wait until the Netflix expires.
You should at that point be able to take advantage of the offer as well as activate it on both.

The Paramount+ offer says it lasts through 12/28, there might be different options in January if you did a later promo like AMC+ Make sure everything has expired on the Netflix account side and they are not charging you monthly after the deal ends. While your account still says "Included in your Verizon package" Netflix does not let you view, edit, or remove saved payment methods you had before the Verizon deal, although support can remove it if you remember the card number used.

Yes, I did the Paramount Plus deal. $119 was a tough pill to swallow compared to $25 last year, but still a decent deal. Careful because Netflix will be ready to charge your old saved payment method pretty much the second the Verizon deal expires. I had to rush and add the new deal right away.

Only deal on it is the VHI, Netflix+Max 12 months + $100 Amazon Gift Card, if you've had VHI for 3 years you can order a new one and cancel your old one to grab the bundle, probably be better anyways because you'd more than likely have the older white box, and the newer Grey ones are better.

It’s that time of year again for those of us on the Netflix Premium free for a year with a purchase of a yearly subscription of a service.

This year it appears Uber One is the deal, which I like. However, it says I’m ineligible for the deal after being on a similar deal the past two years. Has anyone struggled as well signing up for the new deal? My current +play Netflix with Paramount Plus expires on the 21st.

I couldn't get the Netflix + Peacock deal on my account, due to getting the Netlix-NFL+ deal last year. I ended up having to do it on my fiance's account this time.

I haven't been able to activate the Netflix part of the promo. It's like stuck in Pending. I'm a Home Internet customer, so Wireless can't help me, and FIOS says the offer is part of Wireless. Painful.
