So, this isn't for but for my son. I plan on having a short movie marathon with him this Halloween, and I'm looking for suggestions. Just to note, he is seven but has had small doses here and there. Like snippets of Stranger things for example. I've already looked into some basics like Nightmare and Coraline but I was hoping for somethings that would work better as a gateway kind of movie for him. Something that won't scare him away from the genre but enough to give him more of a fun fright.

It looks like the streaming services haven’t released any teasers about what’s coming in 2025 yet but if anyone had any insight into what’s coming down the pike I’d be glad to hear it!

The fuck is netflix doing bro? Their halloween section includes a bunch of shows and movies that were already there. Usually they add a bunch of cool shit but im not seeing much. Not to mention there isnt even a dedicated halloween or scary movie section in THE MOVIE SECTION of netflix. Also has anyone noticed only tv shows appear on the homepage now? It seems they really dropped the ball this year man. For reference its netflix canada so might be different for other users, but im fairly dissapointed

It’s the same in the UK. Usually we’d start seeing the dedicated Halloween, thanksgiving and Christmas sections popping up here and there but it’s literally nothing this year. Nadaaaaa…Not even one trailer for any upcoming cheesy Christmas romances!!
