Hello everyone! Here browsing the website, and I normally wear a large. I know that these Jersey's run big, should I get a medium or stick with a large?
Also, what player do your recommend?
How do these Jerseys tend to fit? Planning on ordering one of these blanks on the teamstore site. I typically wear large tshirts, but am now in-between Medium and Large sizes after dropping about 40lbs, while still actively losing weight (im short and should be in medium shirts but life happens). Leaning towards getting a Medium.
Do these premium jerseys tend to run larger than a tshirt with a comparable size? e.g. is a medium jersey larger than a medium tshirt?
Thanks!

Hey there, looking to get my first adidas jersey! I’m about 5’6” 155lbs and usually wear a medium/large. I can’t decide between the 50 or 52 and would really appreciate some feedback.
Looking at buying my first NHL jersey. Have seen on this subreddit that the Adidas jerseys were usually preferred over the Fanatic jerseys. However this sizing is confusing me. According to the picture from the NHL shop website below, a 3XL in Adidas only has a 27.5 inch chest width? That seems outrageously small, the size for the Fanatic jersey seems normal/typical of a 3XL size. I did have issues with Adidas soccer jerseys not fitting over my shoulders and chest before, so I'm tempted to believe the chart and just buy a Fanatic jersey. It just seems odd that the chest measurement on the Adidas would be almost half the size of the Fanatic jersey, so I wanted to check if anyone has experience with both brands.
I don't understand what these numbers correspond to in the sizing chart? Is it the average of the sizes? I'm a little confused
I just received a Fanatics NHL jeresy. It's a XL and I wanted it more fitted. Would going down to a L be too small? I'm 5' 10 around 225lbs. I typically wear XL shirts, and even in Nike NFL jeresy I wear a XL and love the fit. I know hockey jerseys are typically bigger fitting.
I just worry I'm going to send it back for a L size and it be too small. Any help would be appreciated.
I got my boyfriend a Maple Leafs jersey for his Christmas present. He's around 5'6-5'7 and typically wears a medium so I got his jersey in a medium as well (50), however, when I tried it on (I'm 5'6), it was kinda long on me.. almost reaching to my knees. Is this normal? Should I exchange it for the smaller (44)?
Edit: Thank you all for all the helpful insight and information :)! Based on most of your comments, I'll make sure to exchange his to get a 46.
For those of have an adidas authentic jersey, how is the fit? Do you wear the same size jersey you do in a t-shirt? I typically wear a size L t-shirt and wasn't sure if I should go with the size 52 jersey which seems to correspond with size L, or if I should size down to the 50.
Looking to buy my first nhl authentic jersey. Torn between a 46 and a 50.
I usually buy medium shirts. Some stats:
5’8” 155-160 lbs Chest = 39 inches (suit measurement) 32-33 waist 15” neck 32/33 dress shirt sleeve length
The sizing chart is a little confusing for online.
Recently bought a size M NFL Vapor jersey and would say it’s baggy. Maybe a tad longer than I would like.
Thanks, I know this is annoying. Using a fanatics promo and don’t want to get the wrong size.
I am 6’3” and weigh about 195lbs male. If you have bough a premium jersey what size are you wearing?
Hi,
I am 36 and will begin to play ice hockey for the first time in my life.
I am 5'10" 180lbs with relatively large shoulder and a normal shape.
I have two young children and it's hard for me to find time to go try them at my local store so I was hoping to buy them from Sideline Swap.
My equipment looks like this:
Medium pants
Medium elbow pads
Large shoulder pads
15" shin pads
At home, I have a Small jersey that I used to wear as a fan with no gear.
I am wondering if my size is more L or XL? In number, what would it be? 52, 54, 56?
If you have similar height and weight then me, can you let me know what jersey size you wear with all your gear on?
Thanks!
I bought a 44 Quinn Hughes jersey online from the vanbase store the other day and it fits way too tight, I own one other 44 jersey its the last st pats Matthews jersey and it fits fine but a little snug. I'm thinking of exchanging this Hughes jersey for a 46 is there a big difference in length between 44 and 46 for the primegreen jerseys? I'm around 5'7 160-170 lbs
Definitely need some help my fellow Golden Knights. Never ordered an Adidas Authentic jersey before and wasn't sure which size I needed to get. Plan on wearing a polyester shirt underneath and I'm 6'1, 275. Any help is much appreciated.
If you are between sizes (check out the size chart that was posted), go up. Jerseys always look better a little baggy, plus you can always wear a hoodie underneath if it’s cool out.
I am 6’1”/200 and I wear a 52, but I have long arms and the 52 fits my shoulders perfectly but my arms just barely. It really would be best to find a store with any team jersey and try one on. Would suck to get one that fits your body/shoulders but is too short or too long for your arms, or some other combo.
Maybe also post your shoulder-to-shoulder and shoulder-to-wrist measurements if you have a tailor’s tape.
like is this ridiculously big or is this how it should fit? sorry, first jersey lol
I’m buying this as a gift for someone and need to know the differences. Thank you!
I’m heading to a game soon and have never owned a hockey jersey before. I’m 6’3, about 225 lbs. I normally wear xl shirts that fit pretty good but a little baggy. Most of my football jerseys are large and fit great. What size do you guys think I should get?
Hey i’m looking to get a nhl jersey im about 5’7 125 not a huge dude i usually wear medium/small for shirts would a medium be too big for a hockey jersey?
So I live in Canada and I am thinking about getting a jersey. If am a XL shirt size then should I get a XXL jersey or will a XL be good
