Hi! Is the Nuphy Web App available for Safari on macOS somehow? It says when opening in Chinese: 'At present, the application only supports browsers with Google kernel. Please go to Google, 360 and other browsers to open it.'
So I assume, only with browsers like Chrome it should be possible to use?

I really wanted to get a Nuphy Air keyboard but I need it to work with my MacOS laptops. Luckily I saw offhand comments here about Console not working for Macs, only Windows before I bought. Further research led me to the Mac firmware post about the Air75, but I don't really understand. So Console doesn't work on Mac and there's no plan to, so that means... no customization features (macros and lighting? anything else I'm losing)? What is the Mac firmware for then? Just static improvements to the device function? And is Mac firmware only available for the Air75 and not other NuPhy keyboards?
Really like the profile/look of the NuPhy Air series but this might be a dealbreaker so I would love some clarity on what I get/don't get on MacOS for someone who isn't experienced with mech keyboards before I commit the money.

Hey, there is a non-official Mac solution named NuDelta on GitHub. I’ll post a link when I’m back at my desk. NuDelta allows you to re-map keys. Have used it myself to remap the ‘cut’ and ‘voice assistant’ keys in the top row to other macOS functions. It doesn’t allow you control of the RGB, but I don’t think the Windows official app does either (could be wrong) Instead, you switch RGB modes, brightness, and color using right function key + arrow keys to navigate. There are about 15 or so pre-programmed RGB patterns that I’m very satisfied with. 6 or 7 of the modes interact with key presses, 7 or 8 are just color patterns. I use a Mac at home, and a Mac at work, and remote into a PC sometimes at work, all of which the Nuphy handles beautifully. Have 2 Bluetooth connections for my 2 computers, just hit FN+1 when I’m home and it’s connected to home laptop, FN+2 when I get to the office and it’s working on that laptop.

Give a try to Nudelta https://github.com/donn/nudelta I hope Nuphy will step back and contribute to nudelta instead of making their own proprietary software. It could have been better to release keyboard with QMK firmware. Keychron have released the K3 Pro which is the direct concurrent of the Air75.

Got the Nuphy Air60 HE for its portability, but really liking the low-profile Jade Pro switches for their buttery smooth action and the overall typing experience. I'm now considering replacing the Keychron Q3 Pro SE at home with a NuPhy Air75 HE.
But while VIA makes it easy to adjust the Keychron, I'm having trouble figuring out NuPhyIO, particularly macros and layers. Is there a guide to using NuPhyIO that explains how to create macros and access layers? Thanks!

In my opinion, as it stands, NuphyIO sucks. I haven't had any trouble with macros in particular, but layers are a different story. It doesn't let me dedicate a key to toggle a layer on and off. You can only activate it momentarily as long as you're holding the key, which defeats the purpose of what I'm trying to do. You can set any key to toggle any two keys upon tapping/holding, but for some reason it doesn't let me do that with layer keys. You also can't assign macros to any key that's set to any of the modes exclusive to magnetic keyboards like Toggle, Mod Tap, etc. My Air60 HE is by far the best keyboard I've ever used in terms of feeling. In terms of usability, it's hard to recommend unless they do a complete overhaul of the software. QMK/Via and Keychron Launcher are leagues ahead in that regard.

nuphy.io is pretty much a customized version of VIA, but their macro recording system is weird, I'll give you that. I personally prefer to just write the code for my macros, but nuphy.io doesn't let you do that. You have to type out your macro character by character. I usually set the delay to 10ms before starting the recording (but you can set it to what you like), otherwise it'll use your typing speed when playing back the macro. You do need to hit that Save button somewhere on the screen after recording. And the editing after the fact is kind of terrible, too, or at least I've not figured out how to do it better. Hopefully it'll improve over time. VIA is definitely better in this respect. Layers should work pretty much the same way they do on VIA. Each of the three available 'profiles' (rear switch M1, M2 and M3) have 4 layers available to them, and you can switch between them with MO(0) through MO(3) for M1, etc. I personally only use M1 and M2 on mine, as I switch between Mac and PC (home and work), but don't really need the third. But you can use any of them for whatever you want. You can even set M1 for one kind of game with certain trigger settings, M2 for a different game with different trigger settings, and M3 for a third game or for just normal typing (or any order you wish). Not sure if there's a guide from Nuphy, but someone might have done a YouTube video (I've not looked).
