You're right, email deliverability is key! Microsoft 365 Business Basic, which lets you use your custom domain, starts around $6/user/month. Deleting your Zoho account shouldn't impact using the same domain with Microsoft. Check Namecheap's DNS settings – you'll need to update them to point to Microsoft. Good luck! More on reddit.com

I’m a plumber, and I’m tired of paying more and more every year for email. $130/year for one email is ridiculous, but I want to still keep a professional business email. It helps with new clients. Just curious if there are any good cheaper options.

Out of curiosity: Do you have a website? I bet some of that cost is going to web hosting. Do you have other employees that need email? You may be paying for email accounts that are being used (or not used at all). Here’s a relatively cheap solution if you just need one email. If you use iOS for a business phone - or even a personal phone - sign up for the lowest iCloud+ tier (99¢/mo). You’ll get personalized email and you can connect up to 5 domains for email accounts and have unlimited email addresses. You can’t share these emails with anyone though. For a website, you can create a basic site on Google Sites and link a custom domain to it.
