I got them and have found the quality quite poor. Would not recommend. To me low quality products aren’t sustainable even if the case is ultimately compostable, as you have to replace it more often which uses more energy, likely generates more manufacturing waste, and requires more energy for shipping. I wanted y’all’s thoughts as this is something I’ve been concerned about for years. I have an iPhone. I have found Pela’s cases to not last very long and I have to get a new one in at most a year, but have had ones last much less. They’re expensive, but I worry because at least they’ll break down vs. a plastic one adding to the mountains of trash. Which is more sustainable? Because there’s also the shipping and production. I think I’ve gone through three cases as they all rip or come apart.

Just curious, what's happening to your Pela cases? I've had two--one for each of the two phones I've gone through in the past 5 years. I've never had any issues at all. I often recommend them to people.
