Ps5 took a fall off a tall dresser and now it won't power on. Will game stop accept it for trade in?

This is insane! Now it’s best to sell the ps5 second hand.

Hey just wondering if I can trade in my PS5 disc version. The issue is I don’t have the original plates (I have dbrand dark plates) and I don’t have the original white controller. I do have the purple color controller and everything else I do have like the cables etc. I know it somewhat depends on the store but I just wanna know my chances. I’ve tried looking on the internet but other post are outdated and idk if they changed anything in their policy

Update: I went the the GameStop near my home and the guy instantly said no I tried to explain that I didn’t have the original plates, he said no which I understand but he was very rude through the whole convo which lasted less than one min. He told me to take it to a pawn shop and barely made any eye contact. I didn’t argue back. I work in retail so I know what it’s like dealing with customers and he was the only one in the store. I eventually called the GameStop near my job and they said yes to me. I went there and traded it in and they gave me the price that was listed online so I guess it depends on which GameStop you go to and what employees decide to be nice lol
