Hello, I was considering to buy some Razer PBT keycaps for my Razer Blackwidow for just aesthetic looks and I've been trying to wonder if anyone here has bought them and if they have been fine with them, I've been wanting to add a little flair to my keyboard and setup so that's pretty much the main reason why
Thank you for answering/reading my question

Just wanted to let you guys know, I have had the Blackwidow Lite Stormtrooper edition for about a year. Recently I paired it up with a set of white Razer PBT Keycaps. White caps on the white board look really good, and the shape of the caps compared with the stock caps, really make the keyboard look about twice as good as before, but more importantly....
The feel is really a lot better too! It's hard to know just how much it would improve if you have never felt the difference before, but it's a greater improvement than I expected.
Surprisingly the board is even louder now with these new caps (it was always loud, despite it being advertised as 'silent') , but the sound is thockier, so that's a plus too.
For the price they sell at, to essentially have a set of caps for life, this is an upgrade you don't need to doubt!
I had a mishap and lost my right ctrl, right shift, and left arrow keys. I was curious if the Razer PBT Keycap upgrade set is compatible with the Razer Blackwidow Elite.

I've got a Keychron Q1 v2 (UK-ISO layout) on the way from China, so I've been window shopping for keycaps in the meantime. I'd like plain black doubleshot PBT in UK-ISO layout, and ideally with shine through - not easy to find! I did come across these though : Razer keycaps on Amazon
They fit the bill and are a sensible price too, although it says they are an upgrade for Razer's own keyboards. Anyone know if they are a standard size and would fit other boards too?
tldr: does the razer shine through pbt keycaps set come with a r1 1.75u shift key
so i was looking at the razer pbt keycaps, the ones that are $29.99 on amazon (link below) and I was wondering if contained the smaller R1 1.75u shift key that is for keyboards that have the arrow key cluster pushed into the keyboard on the right side like on 65% and 75% keyboards. I have a 65% right now but im thinking of getting a 75% soon and I wanted shine through keycaps and these were the only doubleshot pbt black shine through oem profile keycaps i could find. i was looking through reviews and images and videos but i couldnt find out for sure because everyone puts them on a razer keyboard for testing, which makes sense obviously, but i want to know about the small shift key.

Hello,
I recently bought the Razer PBT keycap upgrade set for my Keychron C1, and I noticed that the box came with stabilizers for 'mechanical' and 'optical' keyboards. I inquired about this earlier in the MechanicalKeyboards subreddit, but I wanted some verification here if the mechanical stabilizers are strictly for Razer's keyboard offerings only or if they're also useable on non-Razer keyboards.
So I have the Razer Huntsman Elite - a super excellent keyboard with the purple switches except the standard keycaps left me unhappy as the shifted items were not illuminated and the keys were shiny. I upgraded to the black PBT keycap set and boy did they look and feel great.
Then, I got it in my head that making it have "accent colors" like the IBM Model M would be kinda cool. Ordered the PBT keycap upgrade set in green for all the keys that were darker on the Model M. Big friggin' mistake.
While the black upgrade set showcases ALL of the RGB colors in spectacular perfection, the green PBT upgrade set knows only ONE color: GREEN/WHITE. The bleed through is incredible and every color, through the green keycaps looks like white. This is SO disappointing. After I click the "Post" button, I am pulling all of the green switches and going back to black where all the glorious RGB colors shine through.
Not all Razer PBT upgrades are created equal. The black ones looks fantastic and showcase all of the Synapse lighting effects. The green is green with white light and well, that's your only choice.
I just got today this set for my Blackwidow chroma and was unpleasantly surprised by how bad the stabilized keys behave.
The mechanism is different than the original, so i swaped the wires and used the included supports, but most of those keys are left hard to press and some of them they dont even pop back.
Is this behaviour common? can be fixed?
I'm in between changing those keys to the old ones (and only keep the numbers and letters in PBT) or cut the old stabilizer supports from the old keys (which care glued) and glue them on the PBT keys with cyanoacrylate.
Also, is it normal that it only comes with 2 straight supports for the space? the original is bent just a the little stabilizers for the smaller keys.
Are all the keycaps same profile ?
I am asking because I would be using it for an ISO/105 AZERTY layout keyboard, but if the keys are not all identical, and it is designed for a QWERTY keyboard it won't fit nicely.
Thanks !
How different are these from the ones that come with the Huntsman Elite? Are there any replacement keys out there where the symbols on the number row keys allow the illumination to come through?
Very disappointed in the Razer Phantom Keycap Upgrade Set. They said it's a universal kit and compatible with the 65% keyboards. I have the Razer Blackwidow V3 Mini Hyperspeed. The keycap kit has a much smaller font. Also the font isn't as sharp. It almost looks a little fuzzy. On top of that...the frosted look cuts back on the amount of light that shines through by a lot. On top of that, almost all the FN controls are missing from the front side of the keys. It has the media functions but that's about it. I figured this would allow me to have to same thing as if I ordered the Phantom version of this keyboard but it's not the same.
I tried to return it and Razer made me pay shipping. The cost to ship was more than half of what I paid. It wasn't even worth it. I almost just threw it in the trash but decided to just throw it in a storage box in case I ever wanted to use it with a different keyboard. Definitely wouldn't ever purchase again. Love the keyboard...but these keycaps are not as advertised.
Hi everyone, i would like to upgrade the keycaps on my Razer BlackWidow Tournament Edition Chroma V2 (60%), with a PBT version, is there any cheaper and compatible product? The Razer kit will cost 50eur in my country, and the entire keyboard is 99...
