If your lights are plug in and you have multiple strings, they need a ton more power than what a normal small battery pack can handle. You need a portable power station or can run extension cords inside through window or door gaps, which would be cheaper. There's also outlet light socket adapters if you have a porch light. i’m doing a few vending markets for my art and want to power some christmas lights for a few hours. it’s 60 feet of lights, 200 bulbs. “The lights operate on 120 volts of power from a standard outlet, with each strand drawing 4.8 watts. They can connect end-to-end up to 45 strands for a maximum load of 216 watts.”
i want to power these lights for at least 3 hours, preferably up to 6.
if it wasnt painfully obvious, i don’t know a thing about wattage and voltage and all that fun stuff so if anyone can maybe point me in the direction of any specifications or buzz words i should prioritize when purchasing a power bank, i would really, really appreciate it.

The Jackery 400 at Harbor Freight, $199, could reasonably be expected to do 6 of those strands for 6 hours, with a little overhead to play a little bluetooth speaker and keep your phone from dying. Handy device for other things. I'm reasoning 200 Wh and 6 hours for 30 W, 5 W per strand. They advertise 290 Wh. You could use a deep cycle battery, buck converter (s), and 5 V LED strips (a bit more efficient), with power injection, or no converter and 12 V LED strips. But, you'd have a bit of a learning curve and a heavy battery and some wiring connections to do. With an inexpensive charger, you'd be out about the same $ if you have the tools and time. A low end 12 V deep cycle battery setup would roughly double the strands equivalent of the Jackery 400 with 120 v plug ins.
