I want get a small glass dinner table since I just painted the walls in my apartment. I’m not sure to go for a normal white or a clear one. I’m afraid that it might look nice but when eating with Luther people are they would probably look at one another’s feet 🦶. Looking at your food while looking at food is someone’s feet doesn’t seem as pleasant.
Should I get it or it’s all just in my head?

They're (the glass ones) cute but damn, the fingerprints and smears EVERYWHERE. You have to clean them 19 times a day. Okay, slight exaggeration but they are a pain in the neck in my book.

My parents have one. You need 2 microfiber cloths, one to use with a cleaning solution and one to dry. You have to get underneath the table to clean the glass from underneath because there will be fingerprints, smears, and footprints (small kids get their footprints e v e r y w h e r e). They collect grime and dust like crazy. The clear tablecloths look terrible, and opaque tablecloths negate the whole point of a glass table. There is always the fear of dropping something on the table and shattering it. And, back to kids, glass tabletops are often not secured very well to the legs and if a kid stands on an edge the whole top could unbalance and cause serious harm.
