I am trying to find some recommendations for a wireless rgb mouse and keyboard combo that has has a thumb rest on the mouse and low profile keys on the keyboard. More on reddit.com

Doesn’t Logitech have their own RGB software. Usually top brand peripherals come with their own software to control RGB and I don’t think you can use a 3rd party software.

I personally use the glorious model o minus wireless. 90$ about. One of the lightest mouses I've ever used, around 50-70 grams. Literally moves if you blow on it. However battery life isn't as good compared to other wireless mouses. And as for keyboards, I don't recommend getting a prebuilt mechanical keyboard. Custom building is a fun hobby to get into and if you reach out to the right people, you can get lots of resources to help. To compare the difference to a prebuilt mechanical and a custom, it's like drinking tap water vs drinking mineral water and paying the same price. A starter build I would do would get a kbd67 lite keyboard building kit. Sounds amazing and on the entry level side of pricing. 100+ range. Unfortunately the non hot swap version doesn't have RGB like you would like, however there are many keycaps out there that have very good legibility. If you are worried about aesthetics, most custom keyboards actually look better without RGB. And for keyboard switches ( the feel and push, basically the thing that you press down ) I would recommend any recently released linear switches. Gateron cjs are one of the most smoothest out of the box (before lubed) switches and sound great. They are the more expensive side though so you can put it on any future boards. And for keycaps I recommend anything to be honest lol. Try to get double shot pbt caps but if you want some brand names. Gmk keycaps clones aren't too expensive unless you get actual gmk keycaps. Pudding keycaps look good if you get a board with RGB. Pom jelly is expensive as hell but really look good if you like pastel. Sorry for the rant >:) More on reddit.com
