I contacted Rooms to Go to tell them about the issue, and they said they would send out a technician. The technician came out on October 17, 2025, and took pictures and said that 3 of the 4 recliner mechanisms were bent. He stated it probably happened during shipping. After he looked at everything, he said that he would request new mechanisms sent to me, and then he would come back out and repair. On November 18, 2025, we called customer service, and they said the mechanisms were ordered on October 21st, but that there was no tracking, so they may be backordered.

I bought a sofa July of last year along with a 4 year service contract. The sofa’s cheap frame is already cracking and making terrible noises when you sit on it. The foam in the cushions have already broken down. I paid a total of 2,000 dollars for this couch. I realize now that the quality of rooms to go furniture is terrible. Extremely poor quality. The warranty according to their customer care department doesn’t cover anything that’s wrong with my sofa.

If you purchase online, your purchase is returnable · for 48 hours after you receive it but you have to GO TO ARLINGTON TO THEIR DISTRIBUTION CENTER if you need to return something. This is INSANE. What happened to customer service, convenience?

Now, to get my order right, they want me to pay more for the order they messed up. I also talked to Shawn Frazier and he was not providing good service and he shouted at me. I filed a complaint, and a technician came to inspect the table. He took photos and admitted there was no sign of misuse. Still, Rooms to Go refused to take any action, claiming the table "was fine at the time of delivery." To top it off, the customer service rep I spoke with was shockingly rude, offering no solutions and making it clear they just didn't care.

Rooms To Go and Guardian (Extended Warranty) are a scam. Please go to a more reputable company to buy from. These people will tell you anything to make a sale and then provide reasons as to why your furniture is not covered. The customer service team is sketchy and rude.
