Consider looking for flat sheets and sewing two together on three sides to make a duvet cover. (If you aren’t comfortable with a sewing machine, I bet a local dry cleaner/alterations shop could do it quite affordably. More on reddit.com

Late reply, but I hope it can still help. My husband and I have had our mattress and duvet for about 3 or 4 weeks now. He sleeps hot, and I sleep cold. Because of this, we eventually moved to using separate comforters in the same bed (a trick we learned from a trip to Germany). Prior to the duvet, he would sleep with a thin, gauze-y sheet and a light blanket/comforter, and he'd alternate between using the former or both depending on how hot he was sleeping that night. Meanwhile, I'd start out with my electric blanket on usually at max and cocoon myself inside a regular-thickness comforter from Walmart. We got the duvet when we got the Purple mattress, and this is the first time in a few years that we've both been able to sleep under the same comforter, even cuddling, and not had me freeze or him roast. (For reference, we always keep the bedroom at 64 degrees F, and we are also using the Purple sheets over a Purple 4.) With our old shared comforter, he would often throw it off himself and sleep with only a sheet halfway through the night, but he says he's been keeping this duvet on all night comfortably, and I haven't gone for my electric blanket since we put on Purple's mattress protector (it definitely minimizes the deep chill that the mattress is capable of--I felt like I had my back to an open deep freezer when first laying on the mattress those first two nights without it).
