I have a question that I'd like to ask you and the responder here. What makes yall land on these online brands and not one of the traditional mattress companies? Is it these mattress review sites that point you toward these beds? Is it the marketing money that is making you turn that way? For an example, the Sealy Hybrids (several models) above $1299 are higher quality builds than both Saatva and Helix, did they turn up in y'all's research?
Where are you located? There are several smaller retailers, trying to survive, that are doing private appointments or virtual shopping that would love to help you find one you like.
We carry Dreamcloud in our stores and while it is a decent bed, easy to ship because it is boxed, we have a Beautyrest Hybrid that is the exact same price that feels so much better. I personally have not lied down on a Saatva or Helix so I cannot compare it to the Beautyrest I am talking about but typically, when you put these online bed-in-a-box brand mattresses next to a mattress of the same price range in a retail store, they can't compete.
Just my two cents, maybe slight frustration that almost all the questions about mattresses are about these online brands that my retail stores don't carry. I am trying to get an idea of how we can help shift the consumer journey back to other brands where the consumer is getting a higher quality mattress.
