I tried these on a suggestion from this subreddit, and the ones with the flanges (the "Silicone Black" named version) really make a HUGE difference in how the Buds 2 stay in my ears. With the original ear tips, large size, they stayed in OK if I made sure my ears were very clean first, but even then, any movement of my jaw/mouth would cause them to move outward slightly and become looser.
With these flanged ones, that issue is about 95% solved and they virtually do not budge even if I do those kinds of movements. Highly recommended to try if you're having this issue, especially for the price. I tried the mixed size ones and the large works for me.
I am using stock large tips but lose them while taking it out recently so looking for a better Replacement tips that would not have issue with the charging case closing or possibility memory foam.
Also I was told the samsung galaxy buds and buds plus have different dimensions nozzle anyone can confirm this? I want to know if samsung galaxy buds tips will fit into buds plus.
Wanted to try the small tips on my new Buds 3 Pro so removed the default mediums, which came off with quite a bit of effort. Installed the small size, which made a satisfying *click* on seating and tried how those fit for a while.
When trying to remove the smalls to compare with the mediums once more, I couldn't get them off anymore. I inverted the eartips and pulled slowly as indicated in the official Samsung Buds 3 Pro how-to for replacing eartips but to no avail.
After struggling with it on multiple attempts the eartips finally surrendered and the soft silicone separated from the hard mounting point completely, leaving me with the eartip mounts stuck on the buds. One came clean off, the other left behind a small strip of silicone eartip on the hard plastic mount of the eartip.
Only safe way I could find for removing the hard plastic was to take needlenose pliers and carefully, and gently(!), grabbing the plastic mount on the sides that have the guiding pins and slowly wiggling them off while applying some very light pressure.
Not the best start for these buds and I don't dare try to remove the mediums again as I believe these might break as well now, as it does take considerable force to remove, I just thought nothing of it at first. Seems like poor quality control or bad mount design. Anyone else have this experience?
Edit: I did try removing the Medium tips quite a few more times (for saiens!) and they do come off reliably but the amount of force needed seems excessive and I guess the Small tips have thinner material which makes them less robust. There is also no amount of pinching you can do while removing them that would actually affect the mounting point as the silicone is very stretchy. But slightly twisting the tip towards the stem side seems to make it come off more easily.
