This morning Google Maps suggested that I should make a left term on Kirkham from the 19th ave while I’m pretty sure left turn is illegal at this intersection. I always thought Google Maps are super reliable in SF but it looks like you still need to double check its directions. Is anyone else having issues with Google Maps in SF?

I had the same happen to me before as well. It seems that Google Maps doesn't know that you can't make a left turn off of 19th Avenue. You can report the issue and hopefully it gets fixed.

Lately Google Maps has been telling me to make illegal left turns on Mission and Valencia, and even tried to send me down a one-way street (Page St. at Buchanan). Has anyone had similar problems with other faulty Google Maps directions? (I should note, I'm a journalist working on a story about this, want to gauge if there are any other problem spots).

Yeah someone just asked about this yesteday. Google maps been a little wonky with no left turns lately. I've noticed it on Valencia too. And also divis and van ness. Yes, this happens to me regularly in the city. Specifically with illegal or impossible left or U turns. Just last week it kept insisting that I make an either a left or U turn on Geary (in the stretch where left turns are forbidden). I also agree that this behavior seems to have increased recently, but that’s a totally anecdotal observation.
