I like compact vacs too, but I ended up using the Shark PowerDetect Cordless Stick Vacuum because it flips into handheld mode. Works for small messes and still handles floors.

Depends what you are wanting to do with it. It's pretty good as a grab and go cleaner for small spills and very quick touch ups. It's not good for cleaning an entire car interior, a flight of stairs, any job which takes longer. And the bin is super tiny. It's noisy and the runtime is something like 8 minutes.

I recently picked up the Shark WANDVAC Handheld Vacuum to help keep up with the constant mess from my kids and pets, and here's what I found:
My Experience
Lightweight & Easy to Use: At only 1.4 pounds, it's super easy to grab and maneuver for quick cleanups.
Strong Suction: Surprisingly powerful for its size—handled pet hair and crumbs without a problem.
Quick Charging: The charging dock is sleek, and it doesn’t take long to juice up.
Limited Battery Life: It runs out of power after about 10 minutes, but it’s fine for smaller jobs.
One-Touch Empty: Emptying the dust cup is a breeze, but it fills up pretty quickly.
Overall
Great for quick cleanups around the house, especially if you’ve got kids or pets, but be prepared to empty it often and recharge frequently.
I'm also finding its declining in suction from day 1 to now.
