I know several people have used culinary generators in the past. I'm wondering what a good easy setup for beginning power would be.
I've got a small farm area that I can make chicken (tofu) sandwiches with, which looking at this spreadsheet it says I should get something like 36rf/t for 144sec for a total of 103,680rf per sandwich.
Is that right? That seems a large amount of power for some smashed up soybeans and wheat. Granted it's only 36rf/t, but it looks like a nice start...if it's right?
How does the random food generator work?
How does the random recipe generator work?
Can I save the recipes I generate?
I don't know if you guys have seen this before, but making Stuffed Eggplants are very easy and efficient way to make RF.
Here is the one I use: http://i.imgur.com/xxyAzQS.png (There is garlic in the right barrel but OptiFine is glitchy.)
(Don't mind the soybeans, I have 1 row on each of the farms just for a bit of them to make the generators.)
Here is the back side of it: http://i.imgur.com/AG3gyUz.jpg
I found that the sprinklers from OpenBlocks and the sprinklers from AgriCraft work together so your garlic and eggplants grow really fast. You have to constantly feed water into both sprinklers, so I am just using liquid transfer nodes with 1 world interaction upgrade into each of the sprinklers. I am just using copper upgrades on the harvesters but you can go bigger. (You would have to add more sprinklers.)
This farm (with the eggplants and garlic crossbred to 10/10/10) makes enough stuffed eggplants that I can feed 2 64x Culinary generators to make 4,864 rf/t!
Leave a comment if you don't understand something and I will explain the best I can.
Edit: I haven't tested it but it seems you might be able to squeeze out a third 64x Culinary generator to push out 7,296 rf/t.
Edit 2: Also I forgot to mention that the barrels are there so there isn't garlic or eggplants dropped when the cyclic assembler is full. They are simple iron upgraded barrels with the void upgrade in them so when they fill up the excess gets destroyed.
I'm playing FTB Evolved Expert and have reached early-mid game. I'm looking at Culinary Generators as a form of energy production. But which foods give off the best bang for my buck?
Right now, I'm looking at Epic Bacon but I would like more ideas.
