Tell me how much you love your nightstands and where you got them from!!
I have been in my apartment for a whole year and I haven’t found a nightstand set that I actually like. I want at least one drawer, Ikea isn’t giving me anything cute and I am afraid to DIY - I did attempt a DIY when I first moved in and I hated the way they came out.
I just want something maximalist without being decked out in LED lights 😭 wayfair is not helping with that. I don’t want to drop 500+ on two nightstands so maybe that’s my problem.
ETA: thank you everyone!! I’m going to have to really put my nose to the ground and look at thrift stores instead of magically hoping something nice will appear in front of me lol

Candidly, I’ve always found traditional “nightstands” to be too small or too shallow or too short for the scale of my king-sized bed. Plus my house is not very big and it’s old and there are no closets, so I like things that can serve more than one purpose or provide extra storage. Besides, something different like that can add a bit of personality to your space. So over the years, I’ve used regular sofa end tables (with at least one drawer), small bookcases, student desks, stacked hope chests, an old dining room buffet with the legs cut down, etc. I’ve found things at thrift shops, antique malls, garage sales, my mom’s house (lol!), or I’ve just repurpose something I already owned. Point being that when you’re looking, don’t feel like you have to limit yourself to something that’s called a “nightstand”…there are no rules. You do you! 😊
