I feel like it’s easy to build brand trust now, and it's curcial in the ecommerce world. Like exclusive offers, email marketing, or UGC videos, all of that has greatly helped establish solid trust with customers. I run a clothing shop, and I pay for customer videos and then edit them into UGC content myself. I could easily produce dozens of UGC videos in a day, but I usually only post about 5 per week. That campaign is boosting my ads' organic reach. Over the past two months, my ads have hit 2.2% conv and 5x ROI, and 45% repurchase rate. Honeslty I don’t think this would’ve been achievable in the past, at least not in such a short time. Answer from Sad_Rice833 on reddit.com

The 20 Best Digital Marketing Campaigns of All Time | Zen Media
March 19, 2026 - TL;DR: The 20 best digital marketing campaigns of all time share one trait: they gave people a reason to participate, not just watch. From Oreo’s 6-minute Super Bowl tweet to Spotify Wrapped reaching 200 million engaged users in just 24 hours (Music Business Worldwide, 2025), the playbook is consistent.
People also ask

What is the difference between a digital marketing campaign and a general marketing campaign?
The key differences are interactivity, measurability, and speed. Digital campaigns can be A/B tested in real time, adjusted mid-run, and measured down to the conversion level. Traditional campaigns need longer lead times and deliver broader but less precise performance data. Digital also reaches global audiences at a fraction of traditional media costs.

How much does a successful digital marketing campaign cost?
Budget matters far less than strategy. Dollar Shave Club's iconic launch video reportedly cost under $5,000 to produce. The Barbie movie's marketing spend hit $150 million. Most campaigns on this list succeeded not because of spend, but because they identified an insight no competitor had acted on and executed with precision.

What are the best digital marketing channels for campaigns in 2025?
Short-form video drives the highest ROI, with 77% of marketers reporting it as their top channel according to HubSpot's 2026 State of Marketing. B2B brands consistently see results from LinkedIn and thought leadership content. Consumer brands with younger audiences see outsized returns from TikTok and Instagram Reels. Email still delivers $36 for every $1 spent, making it the highest-ROI channel for retention.

r/digital_marketing on Reddit: What are some digital-era marketing campaigns, and how do they drive good results?
September 13, 2025 -

I’ve been trying to get a better understanding of what actually drives sales in marketing—not just brand awareness or product exposure. It feels like digital platforms have really changed the game compared to ‘classic’ marketing campaigns, with things like SEO, email marketing, influencer marketing, etc.

I’m not trying to dismiss classic marketing at all. I’m just curious about what "modern" marketing campaigns people are commonly using these days (I'm not that familiar either) and how they work in practice. I’d love to hear your insights and examples!

The biggest difference between “classic” campaigns and digital-era ones is that now you can actually measure almost everything. You’re not just throwing up a billboard and hoping someone remembers it when they need your product or service. A few modern campaigns that actually move the needle: Local SEO & Google Business Profiles - not flashy, but if someone searches “coffee shop near me” and your business pops up in the top 3, that’s direct sales. It’s intent-based, which is why it usually outperforms old-school “awareness” stuff. Retargeting ads - ever look at a pair of shoes then see them everywhere else you’re looking? It’s not creepy—it’s effective marketing because the person already showed buying intent. Influencer/UGC collabs - not always about big influencers, sometimes it’s micro-creators with a super-engaged following. People trust recommendations from “someone like them” way more than a polished ad. Email/SMS drip campaigns - a lot of folks think email is dead, but personalized follow-ups (like abandoned cart nudges) can rescue a ton of lost sales. Short-form video (TikTok/reels) - businesses use quick, relatable clips to humanize their brand. Doesn’t need to be perfect production, just authentic and value-driven. The common thread here: digital campaigns let you test fast, tweak in real time, and tie actions directly to conversions (calls, form fills, purchases).

I'm probably not the target audience here since I'm more on the data/growth side than creative marketing, but the one that stuck with me was Spotify Wrapped. Not because it's creative or flashy, but because it's such a good growth loop. They get millions of people to voluntarily post their music stats on social media every December. Free marketing from users who are basically showing off. The genius part is it's personalized so everyone thinks theirs is interesting. And it works because people genuinely want to share it, not because Spotify is paying for ads or begging for shares. From a metrics perspective it's beautiful - high engagement, organic reach, happens annually so people expect it, and probably drives a ton of app opens and subscriptions. I've tried to replicate something like this at my company (fintech) and it's way harder than it looks. We don't have fun data like music taste. "Here's how much you spent on transaction fees this year" is not shareable content lol. But yeah, Wrapped is the campaign I think about most when I'm trying to build growth features. Make the user the star, give them something they want to share, make it easy to share. Easier said than done.

Honestly Coca-Cola’s AI comeback in 2025 with their Christmas ad impressed me. I think we can all agree that the 2024 attempt was totally cringe (remember the uncanny human faces) and instead of doubling down, they flipped the concept: cute baby animals, playful storytelling still with AI at the center. Same tech, totally different emotional impact and it worked for me !
