Funny enough, I just made a post myself asking for some advice with the same issue. I just bought my mattress 3 weeks ago. Spent $1,400 and it’s too firm. I’ve read Talalay latex is probably the better of the toppers. Could also be people’s preferences. Talalay latex is on the expensive side too which sucks. I wish there was a way to try a topper before buying. I’m surprised mattress stores don’t sell them. SMH. Let me know if you find anything!! More on reddit.com

I purchased a queen 3 " Talalay topper from Arizona Premium Mattress (Brooklyn Bedding), and it was about two inches too short in length, and and 2 inches too short in width. They sent me a fedex return label. I returned it, and after more than a month, they have yet to credit me. I am looking to get a new topper for my mattress and I am absolutely hating this process. I have tried down feather bed (3" sealy) and its so comfortable but it goes flat after a couple days and its just not realistic to think I will strip my bed and fluff it every few days. once its flat I get pressure point pains, my arm goes numb even sometimes. I am mostly a back and side sleeper BTW.
Next I bought a gel memory foam (2" gel memory foam) one that had a ton of really good reviews on amazon despite me knowing already that I hate memory foam. Had a mattress years ago and it was the worst because it threw my body all out of alignment the way it swallows and engulfs you when you lay on it. so no surprise--have the memory foam topper a week trial and was in pain and walking with right hip pain and a limp for close to a week following.

I've read tons of reviews here and elsewhere about latex toppers. sleep on latex, naturally nestled, avocado etc. but I'm trying to find if someone can tell me what it really feels like--like how does it compare to memory foam? does it cradle and swallow you like memory foam does? I ask because the latex toppers look just like memory foam toppers appearance-wise and it's making me a bit nervous at the idea of dropping $250-300 (queen size 2-3" toppers) only to be in the same boat.

I was surprised just how different the two types of latex feel. Talalay seems much better suited to being a comfort layer and providing pressure point relief. After getting the sample box, I ordered a 3” soft Talalay topper but it hasn’t arrived yet.

Does anyone have recommendations for the best budget online retailer for Talalay latex? Arizona Premium Mattress has the best prices that I've seen until you have to pay like $80 in shipping for 2 toppers. Sleep on Latex has great prices but they are dunlop toppers. Any recommended sites for latex that also has free shipping?

Mattress Topper (division of Brooklyn Bedding) has competitive pricing on Talalay toppers in soft 19ILD, medium 28ILD, or firm 36ILD but only in 3" height. They are encased in an organic cotton cover and currently sell for $336.75 in queen size or with optional "luxury cooling" cover at additional cost. I believe them to be blended Talalay (based on the specific ILDs offered) which is reported to be more durable than all natural Talalay which would be more expensive. They do have "free shipping" so it's included in the price. They have a 30 day return policy including return shipping cost.
