Hi all,
Was listening to midnights on repeat (like everyone else on here I imagine) and randomly remembered that Tay Tay dated Calvin Harris for a substantial period.
Does anyone suspect any songs about him on this album? From what I can tell, the songs are mainly about the usual suspects (Harry Styles, John Mayer, Tom Huddleston).
Any other songs about him on other albums?
I literally forgot that he existed 😂

There are a few songs that are suspected to be about Calvin. On Midnights, Bejeweled and High Infidelity seem to be about him. Bejeweled discusses her feelings when she was with him, it's rumoured that he wasn't that supportive of her when they were together. It also references her dancing with Tom at the Met Gala whilst she was still with Calvin. High Infidelity also seems to reference the Met Gala and April 29th was the day Calvin's single (that Taylor wrote) "This Is What You Came For" was released. On Reputation, Getaway Car is about her needing an excuse to leave Calvin and her rebounding with Tom. I Did Something Bad is also speculated to be about the same situation - particularly "if he spends my change then he had it coming" appears to reference This Is What You Came For and him making money from the song that she wrote for him.

I always assume I Forgot That You Existed is about him because I too frequently forget that he exists.
