The New Teams is not available as a Store App in Intune - which begs the question, how does Microsoft expect us to push the new Teams client to new devices, since in Europe, it has been excluded from Office 365.
Pushing the msix version is not really ideal since as soon as there is an update, the devices fail since it detects a newer version is installed.
Fellow European sysadmins, how are you guys pushing this New Teams? and to any MS employee, is there any timeline to when this will be available as a store app in Intune?
Screenshot from Intune PortalHi, bought a new laptop for a child for school. It's windows S (which I'd never heard of before), but seems you can only use apps from the MS app store. Didn't think that'd be a problem as they main use microsoft products. But first thing we tried to do was install teams - we've searched for it and can't find it. Where is it? Thanks. Do I really need to disable S mode to use teams???? Thanks.
I have it downloaded from the website and it works fine I guess but for something like Teams I'd love for the AppStore to download and automatically manage app updates instead of my having to manually download a new pkg every time microsoft updates the app, especially since it's a pretty large app.
Didn't think this would a tall ask since basically every other 365 app is on the app store. Teams is available on iPhone, iPad, and even the Vision Pro but not the MacBook?
