Hi, I have a PCB that works with a teensy LC but those are out of stock EVERYWHERE. Is their a replacement product for it that I could use? weather that be a teensy 3.2 or a 4.0 or something off brand.
Adafruit ItsyBitsy M0 Express. Looks like they have 22 in stock right now for $12 ea.
Teensy 4.x is in stock. They are focusing production on the newest boards as they use less silicon
Beginner here, I was reading a book titled <<Arduino for Musicians A Complete Guide to Arduino and Teensy Microcontrollers by Brent Edstrom>> and now interested in experimenting with audio stuff but I'm a bit stuck with finding a Teensy 3.1 microcontroller in my country, any other alternatives recommendation that works fundamentally the same?
Not sure how, but the Teensy in my Sweet Sixteen seems to be fried. Seems these are now very difficult to come by.
If anyone has a space they are willing to sell, I would be very grateful.
Hi, I'm building my first keyboard and I have all the necesary pieces except a teensy. I bought a teensy 2 on aliexpress and then at amazon and both of them were counterfeit boards. They didn't work with the Teensy loader.
Buying it from from PJRC is not an option, since the shipping costs to my country are too expensive (about 90.71$ with UPS plus the price of the board using their calculator).
My plan was to use QMK Firmware Builder to build the firmware with my custom keymap and load it in a teensy 2.
Question: Do you know any alternatives to teensy that works with the firmware built with QMK Firmware Builder?
Whelp… like an idiot I moved my 16n faderbank while I was plugged in and ripped the USB off of the Teensy 3.2 that was the brains of the whole operation.
Now I have a built 16n faderbank in need of a Teensy 3.1, 3.2 or LC and you can’t get em for love or money anymore.
While I’m not a SynthDIY person YET I am definitely interested in it, I’ve been subbed and lurking here for over a year, and I have some homeys who are DEEP in. I could conceivably hire one of them to execute a plan but right now: I don’t even have a plan :(
What I do have is a 16n faderbank in need of a new brain, and a whole bunch of open “out of stock” shopping tabs trying to find one I can buy.
What would you do if it were you in this situation?
Thank you
Hi all. I'm a music and guitar pedal enthusiast and I know almost nothing about arduino. I'm trying to build a midi controller using the code, PCB, and instructions kindly shared here: https://github.com/maasijam/model_d_controller. This uses the Teensy LC, which I can't find anywhere since it's no longer made (I guess for a while now). Is there an obvious replacement that would allow me to use the code and PCB without modifications? I've built several guitar pedals and even designed some of the PCBs myself, but this is way over my skill level. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you :)
I was planning on building a custom keyboard and noticed that a lot of the projects use the teensy 2.0 board, but getting one where I live is quite expensive.
Through google, I saw that the Arduino Micro seems to be a compatible alternative to the teensy, but that is also quite expensive. Most of the "knock-off" boards I see are of the Pro Micro which does not have enough pins.
Does anyone know of any alternatives that would work for this aplication? Or of a way to make the Pro Micro work for this ?
The image is for the handwiring diagram I plan on using if that helps.
