July 7, 2017why is there no car in the pheonix mod map?
If you mean Phoenix "Final Flaw" then yes, it's normal. The map is pretty old and was last updated in 2016, which is I think before the vehicle branch was introduced.
Either way, the map still works as far as I'm aware but no cars will spawn.

So after growing tired of repeated references to 'The Phoenix Project' I decided to try and read it. It might have some great examples for DevOps etc, but on a literary level it is absolutely terrible writing. I'm not a fan of long-form journalism at the best of times, even when written well, and this isn't written well.
Can anyone point to a good synopsis of the story, maybe something in the style of a Wikipedia plot summary? I am not interested in:

Story-wise, it’s about a big company that is failing. For a number of reasons, they are losing a lot of money, and a lot of it is tied up in a specific software project. This is basically the project from hell - missed deadlines, low code quality, feature creep, etc. pretty much everything possible is going wrong with this project. The main character is pulled into this with a sudden promotion that puts him in charge of delivering this doomed project. He then proceeds to start implementing ‘devops’ under the guidance of a mentor who likens software development to physical manufacturing. The protagonist starts seeing positive effects from ‘agile’ and slowly starts to get buy in from executives and other departments. These changes turn the whole project around and the launch is a success. The whole business is transformed, and now does the devops.
