I decided to go with a bigger screen than X1 and T14.
I believe that there is only P1 which is similarly slim and has a keyboard centered without the numpad?
Current 6th generation has quite bad reviews. Thinking of getting second hand.
Can you advise not too old P1 generation which was really well made?

There is Z16 too, which is 16" and with centered numpad-less keyboard. All gens were well made, the main issue is putting powerful components in such thin chassis - same thing as Dell XPS 15/17 does. If you want avoid that, you're going with either Gen 3 or newer gens of lower end configuration.

Can you show me some bad reviews of the P1G6? NBC was quite positive and gave me everything I wanted to know. They’re a step above the T series in build, just don’t expect them to behave like a fat Carbon.

I live in Australia and have the option of purchasing a P1 Gen 1 laptop in new condition from Ebay. The specs are listed below. It costs around 647 USD but as mentioned is in new condition. I plan on using it for financial market trading, some video editing, web surfing etc. I love the keyboard, built quality and the 4K display (dont care much for battery life) and dont like consumer grade laptops. I also like the fact that is relatively light for the specs and travelling with it does not seem to be an issue.
In Australia laptops are more expensive than US and struggle to find anything else in this price range with similar specs. I wonder if this laptop is still worth it in 2024 considering it has an 8th gen processor, can I expect to get a few years out of it considering its in a new condition?

It's not new, but not terrible either. I've used Gen 2 (basically same performance), it was quite fine. If you upgrade to 32GB and bigger SSDs, it will easily serve for many years. Keep in mind, battery life will be few hours max - that 4K screen is a hungry mf.

Those are basically the same specs as my P52 except I have a P2000 and 64gb ram. My P52 still works great and was less than $500 (USD) on eBay. I do understand tech prices tend to be a bit higher in Australia and if cost is an issue you might look at a P52 or P53 since they all seem to have similar specs.
