I’ve been pleasantly surprised with Cosmopolitan. Recently it’s had some pretty good articles on mental health and conversion therapy. There is some celebrity gossip but very little IMO. It definitely leans into the early/mid-20s demographic though. My Nan reads Woman’s Weekly which is more her age group but i think it’s really charming, lots of interviews with interesting people, fiction and cooking/craft recipes. Hi all,
I'd like to get a magazine subscription but I'm completely unfamiliar with what you guys have here. The reason I'm asking is that I remembered a women's magazine from my home country which, in addition to the usual travel, fashion and shopping offerings, had really nice interviews with a wide range of people (mostly women) - doctors, opera singers, race drivers, school principals etc. There were also brilliant articles about art history and design, event and book reviews, health and lifestyle sections. Very little gossip (like two pages of celebrity news). Is there something like that in the UK, preferably available as a paper copy?
