Currently use Evri as the integration for Shopify makes it an absolute breeze - the issue being their service is anything but.
Multiple next day delivery packages taking 5-6 days to arrive, just had a standard delivery take 7 days from point of drop off - as a new business/brand this sort of service is super amateur and I’m worried that as we invest money into advertising and grow this slow service will hold us back.
Obviously the price Evri offers is very competitive - do any other businesses that offer delivery have any recommendations on who to go for? It’s clothing so small packages, striking the balance between cost and speed is a tight rope, particularly while margins are thinner at these initial stages.

DPD currently have a project ‘Can’t Wait’ which has caused me no end of grief, it absolves them of any responsibility to get the package to the recipient so long as they drop it to a pickup point within a 10 mile radius of the intended location. Customers do not want to drive 10 miles to pick up something they paid for to be delivered to their home, especially when it’s a higher price to use them. Avoid them until they can figure out this is a bad idea. Royal Mail are mostly reliable, odd parcel gets delayed a day or two, Evri has very mixed results with the highest rate of customers claiming non-delivery in my experience.
