I understand you want to migrate a google domain to Microsoft. Please follow the steps below to add a new domain to Microsoft 365:

  1. Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
  2. In the Microsoft 365 admin center, in the left nav, select Show all > Settings > Domains.
  3. Choose Add domain, enter your domain name then select Use this domain.
  4. Choose, Add a TXT record to the domains DNS records, select Continue, and copy the TXT value.
  5. Go back to the Google Admin Console, choose DomainsManage domainsView DetailsManage domainDNS, and then scroll down to Custom resource records.
  6. Open the record type drop-down, choose TXT, paste the TXT value you copied then select Add.

The update usually takes a fact within a few minutes but may take up to 48 hours.

  1. Return to the admin center, select Verify,and then Close.
  2. To set your domain as the primary email for your users, in the left nav, select Users > Active users.
  3. Choose a user, select Manage username and emailEdit, select your domain from the dropdown, then select Done and Save changes.
  4. Repeat this process for each user.

When you're finished, you'll be ready to install Office apps and migrate your email and calendar items to Microsoft 365.

I currently have a business google workspace account for my emails. I am using a custom domain ([email protected]) that is hosted and managed in Godaddy

I plan on terminating my google workspace account to move to Microsoft 365, how do I

  1. Move all my emails for all users from Google to Microsoft 365

  2. Have Outlook in Microsoft 365 send and receive all my emails using my custom domain

Would appreciate a step-by-step guide on doing this
