My package was supposed to be delivered the day before yesterday. I was at home whole day waiting for the package because it requires passcode. It’s really FUNNY that when I was putting on my jacket to be ready to go downstairs (I saw there’s only one stop left), I just missed the call from the carrier and got a msg saying that the order couldn’t be delivered. Then I checked shipping status and it showed that they will try again ‘tomorrow’ which is literally yesterday. So I spent another whole day at home keeping my phone nearby and no one came to deliver. Now the status is ‘Unfortunately, we ran into an issue when attempting your delivery. We will try again.’ The customer service is useless and they just tell me to wait or request a refund. I don’t know how many more days I need to wait. Is it normal?
So I ordered a graphics card on February 16th this year. I have prime so it was supposed to come the next day (February 17th, Friday). So everything goes well so far- someone gets the package, it’s sent out (btw this is a package that requires a signature and Amazon has the “code” you give the delivery guy). So I’m home waiting, they’re two stops away. I’m getting happy and then it hits me with delivery attempt, they never came to knock or anything but they did ask for a code over text which you never ever do. it has to be in person. So I believe they wanted to steal it or were too lazy to deliver my package and drove past . So I call Amazon to reschedule my package delivery because I won’t be home. I tell them I need it delivered on the 22nd (Wednesday) and they say alright and change the date. The weekend passes and today it says “Package being processed at carrier facility.” But with no location to which facility. I call them they all give me different answers one guy says it’s today another says tomorrow and the last person says it’s Wednesday. I don’t know if I’ll ever get this package but one thing is for sure: prime is butt. Any idea on what’s going on??
I’ve been home all day waiting for this package, but I got this message on the app. Is it because it’s busy from Thanksgiving season or is it some other excuse? To anyone that’s experienced this, do they actually deliver it to you the next day or will they constantly delay it?
These irritate me to no end. “Unfortunately, USPS ran into an issue when attempting your delivery. They will try again.” It’s not that the package was delayed that burns my shorts. It is the blatant USPS lie. I was here all day. It should be required that if they can’t deliver on their “Attempt” then they(USPS or any other delivery service) should legally be required to put an attempted delivery notice on your door.
