You could always try reaching out and offering to pay a fee for delivery from the seller. Some people won’t be interested, but if you’re within a reasonable distance, you might find someone who’s got a truck (you did say PA after all) and wouldn’t mind making an extra $20/$30+ on something. What's the best way to move furniture bought on Facebook marketplace/Craigslist/letgo?
Everything I own is from craigslist. I try to schedule pickups at staggered times on the same day. So: tell the table guy in Dyker Heights to be ready at 10am, the chair guy in Bed-Stuy 11am, and the sofa girl in Greenpoint 11:30am. Hire a cheap Man With Van type service to make the circuit. Then have a friend/sibling head to the locations via public transit, handle inspection/payment, and interface with the movers. While I wait at home to smooth things over with traffic cops / building security and unload quickly when they arrive. More on reddit.com
