So I drive a 2015 Buick encore. About this time last year or two years ago I got a viper remote start installed into my car (model 7146v).
A couple of days ago my remote start stopped working. I’ve tried to reprogram it but I think it’s the actual receiver in the car that is faulty. The key fob still has a blue light when I click the buttons but not the receiver in the car.
It’s also important to note that when I first got it installed I noticed that my driver side head light was dimmer then normal then whenever I turned the brights on the whole driver side head lights would go out.
So I don’t know if a fuse in the car is bad or if they wired it wrong and it’s drawing power from my head light or what.
Any input would be helpful.
