Today while at Costco I spotted a vuori tag in a messy pile of clothes on one of the tables they put clothes on these were the only ones and I’m sure Costco doesn’t sell them. The tags were like taped on or glued over and the original vuori tags were present I have no idea how these ended up at Costco and why they were 20 dollars any ideas?

Specifically the Kirkland men’s lounge pants for $17. The fabric feels different than before. Still stretchy and slightly bigger fit and probably closer to the Coronado pants than the pontos. Not a bad alternative.

For those interested, I think I found the lounge pant that OP is referring to: Kirkland Signature Men’s Lounge Pant | Costco Looks like these have a greater elastane content compared to last year's version (13% vs 11%), which could explain the different fabric feel and perhaps increased stretchiness. These are also apparently mid-weight with a higher GSM (GSM = "grams per square meter" = fabric weight) compared to last year's version (lightweight, lower GSM), so would make sense they are a bit more structured (and perhaps why OP felt these are more simliar to the Coronado than Ponto's. My wife and I picked up a couple pairs last weekend, and I’m wearing them right now actually. They are super comfortable and pretty similar to Vuori! For $17, I’ll never buy Vuori again.

I was perplexed seeing this as I was in the return line. Seeing two full baskets of black and navy brand new Vuori pants get waved through.
I was curious and know about the brand, so after I was done, went over to the clothing area to ask the associate where I could find them and she said the two literally bought every pair they had as well as the ones in the extra stock they kept under the stuff that’s out. The associate said it was over $30k worth of product. Likely they were some online influencers or something.
I get it, they’re a hot ticket item and the holidays are here….but for something like that, why was there not a limit of 2-5 per purchase? So that way we all can have a chance to purchase them?
Costco has limits on other hot ticket items. For me the Fairlife protein shakes are always a limit of 2 per membership per day. And that’s one example that comes to mind.
Why can’t the same rule apply to something like this?
The associate says they may get some more, and I’m sure they will, but whose to stop people like that to go in an snag everything without giving anyone else a chance?
Or did the store mess up by allowing this to happen? I doubt it because it’s such a one off situation, but curious to see how something like this is typically handled?

Costco Wholesale While I agree with limiting purchase quantities on necessities, especially in times of crisis, (like baby formula, bottled water, infant medication, etc.), people buying large quantities of items were their consumer base originally. Luxury sweatpants or whatever aren’t a necessity.

January 18, 2023 - Are you saying that there's a separate Kirkland brand of sweatpants that are made by vuori but have the Kirkland logo? Because I'd get that over anything. ... Yeah theres a kirkland brand pair. The kirkland brand ones do fit diff than the real vuori and the qc is not great. I wound up returning them. For $12 they're def worth it though if you're into budget clothes. These vuori branded ones id steer clear of. You can get mainline vuori cheaper than this quite often ... Costco fans say that about literally everything Kirkland branded.

Hey all!
I'm in love with my Vuori Performance Joggers, but I've gained some weight and I simply refuse to spend $94 apiece again on another several pairs of them, as soft and gorgeous as they are. Can anyone recommend something of similar quality and feel that doesn't cost so much? I also love the Athleta Coastal Luxe line but they're too thick for what I'm looking for. TIA!!

You won’t believe it till you see them, but Costco has Kirkland joggers for $12.99 from time to time that I like better than Vuori. They just had them maybe a month ago. The pair I got a year ago is still just as nice as the new ones I just bought and I have washed them a lot.

Personal stylist here, I'd suggest searching poshmark/facebook marketplace/etc for a used pair! If you know exactly what you want, just get them :)
