I have a 5 month old Samsung phone I directly purchased with Cricket with Cricket Protect. No issues until it failed internally (no external damage). I have called Cricket customer service 9 separate times, and i am either re-routed to multiple operators then dropped, or if I leave my callback number for service, they NEVER have called back (3 separate times). Any helpful suggestions?

UPDATE: Cricket apparently did not have my UPDATED IMEI2 number in their system. That is why the warranty department was confused, as well as insurance. Everything eventually got updated and activated, and all has been figured out, only took 10 separate calls. lolo.

I got my phone from cricket about 2 years ago and have been paying monthly for a warranty (already a huge mistake) well my phone has been having issues and just today my phone charger overheated and burnt the charging port of my phone. So I either need to get this fixed or get a new phone entirely. I called in to my cricket store and found out the warranty process goes through another company which I'm upset about cause they never told me that when I signed up for it, but I just wanted to know how long it'll take and if it is worth it

I would confirm this with the insurance company (phone-claim) I would be surprised if they still had S9‘s to send you ,should be an S10. (Worth the $250) Free warranty claim is usually for the 1st year if you have no physical or water damage. There is probably a $50 deductible and it looks like they gotcha through their Terms and Conditions, so you've been paying monthly for a warranty that is pretty useless, should have went with squaretrade, another company, or even self insured is more preferably worth it.

So I've been with cricket 10 plus years and the past 6 months I've had nothing but issues!! I pay for unlimited service and past 6 months I've been having issues where phone goes to SOS or straight NO INTERNET CONNECTION!!! I've walked n there office and got no where every time I go to get help as to what's going on with my phone and excuse after excuse!!! I've called customer service technician support n that's a joke they don't do anything to help!!
I have upgraded my phone and they said that will fix the problem!! Well it hasn't fixed anything!!!
We pay all this money for service but let them be the cause of our phone not working and THEYRE NOT ACCOUNTABLE FOR NOTHING
EXCUSES AFTER EXCUSES!!!

Believe it or not, that’s happened to a lot of customers that have walked into my store some time last month. I’ve tried everything from changing sims and ESims to using the other phones IMEI number and get no where, customer service is useless when I call or use the chat to get help. But I’ve realized that 9/10 customers that walked in that same day had the new update installed that caused the cellular service update to not install properly I’ve read on apple forums that it’s an apple problem and lots of people’s new iphone usually end up as paper weight. Never could find anything on a fix :/
