I was there not as a Dev, but as a Business Analyst, it being my first job after graduating university a few years ago. Two interviews, but not applicable to your case. Terrible, especially compared to the workload. After a few months, I left for another company with a 60% increase in salary. I really liked the people, except for everyone above the PMs. I was on two projects there, in the middle of the second project they sacked the PM and replaced him with an unbearable, micromanaging guy. I left right after, so I don't know how it ended. Very flexible, which was a positive point. I don't know if that has changed since then. More on reddit.com

I use Babbel for Spanish and I like it a lot. It has good grammatical explanations, a repetition tool, podcasts with transcripts and some more.

Just try out for 7 days and see if you like it. Busuu is also good imho. Didnt like Duo for more than the first few weeks.

A native Spanish speaker told me to drop Duolingo and use Babbel instead for Spanish, because it's not "silly sentences" but a lot of the structure is the same and also very similar to Rosetta Stone I think (since a lot of apps are about the same tbh). I did use it for a while and it did help. I havent actively used Babbel in a bit, but IDK about lifetime sub. I know you said in another comment it won't be your only resource. I also want to learn Spanish more seriously and I'm already in talks for a friend to tutor me (just have to get back with him soon about it, would love to get a jumpstart on it) but it seems like I may have to supplement apps, and my tutor lessons, with other stuff too. Just not sure what I wanna do yet. I am not sure if this answers whether it works, though. I also didn't pay to unlock more after Lesson 1. More on reddit.com

I’ve used Duo, Rosetta, and Babbel and I think if you actually want to learn rules of grammar, conjugations, rules of tense etc Babbel is the only app of those three that will teach you why things are the way they are. The other two are more just memorizing through rote and never really understanding why certain things are not what you would have guessed based on other exercises and examples. I started with Rosetta Stone but after a few months I started to feel lost because as lessons progressed I felt I didn’t have a good foundation and absolutely no explanation of anything. So I started using Duolingo which seemed better at first but then after close to a year I felt I had plateaued so then I got babbel and after using it for maybe about 9 months now I think it is the best one for actually learning a language and not just trying to remember arbitrary phrases.
