This question gets asked about once per day in this sub. On paper, there is no catch to the financing. In reality, you are more incentivized to make the purchase than you would have been otherwise. If you have strong enough purchasing discipline to truly not have the free financing affect your decision, then yes on paper you can come out ahead through interest arbitrage. Many people do not, however, and BNPL can become a way to dig a very deep hole. More on reddit.com

I'd like to purchase an Amazon gift card from Best Buy since they accept PayPal. It doesn't seem to specify in the terms that gift cards are not allowed. Can anyone confirm?
If not, is it possible to get the promo by getting a PayPal credit card and then checking out?
There's a graphics card I want that will only go on sale on Amazon and it's a lot of money...
I've checked the terms of the offer and also the general rewards agreement, and this does not seem to be prohibited but this is a big risk since gift cards aren't refundable

I’m not sure if this is useful for anyone, but I saw some older posts about it. I found out that if you hit remember my billing when adding your PayPal to Walmart pay in 4 will not pop up. You have to load PayPal without saving it.

I learned the hard way on Sunday, still dealing with it to a degree. What I will do from now on if I want to make a Walmart online purchase with PayPal is to remove PayPal altogether from my payment method and then add it before purchase. That way it should go to my PayPal page before the order goes through and allow me to choose Pay in 4 if available or PayPal Credit, etc... FYI for everyone: if you have already used PayPal even 1 time on your Walmart.com account, if you just click on order the item you want it will automatically go through. And good luck trying to get it cancelled. You need to remove PayPal as the option then add it again before ordering the product.
