Hello. I started working at amazon a few weeks ago. I've been there for about two to three weeks. I would describe the work as "Okay". It's not the hardest but neither is it the most fulfilling. The wages are also okay. It pays well for not needing a degree or anything. Plus, as an introvert your mostly in your own world.
Ofc people will come up to you and explain stuff or ask stuff. But if your hitting rate. No one will focus on you.
My question is why do you work at Amazon? Most people online when they talk about Amazon as like a car or a vehicle. Something to help to get somewhere else. Maybe you got two more years at college and need to finish your requirements. Or you lost your job and need something help pay off your rent/mortgage until maybe something more suitable for your opens up.
Even though the job isn't the worst or anything. Working here for more than 6-12 months seems so insane to me. Assuming your not interested in being promoted Your stuck doing the same thing over-and-over for 3-4 days a week and maybe more depending on where you work at.
Do you have plans greater than amazon? Maybe owning a shop or starting a business? Or do you see yourself here for a long time?

1.) Because I can show up or not show up and leave whenever I want as long as I have time off without speaking to anyone. As someone who has been fired for attendance, this is huge. 2.) I make the most money I have in my 36 years without spending my entire life at work or sacrificing spending time with my family as a single mom thanks to an accommodation. 3.) NO CUSTOMERS 4.) EASY WORK 5.) The option to further my career if I want. 6.) Also, a weird one but not having to clean a bathroom or the place to leave for the day is a plus. 7.) AGAIN, NO CUSTOMERS BECAUSE I DONT MISS THE ENTITLEMENT ONE BIT!
