Best headset for the office that doesn't look immensely dorky
Anyone use wireless headsets for office phones in your environment?
We've got Polycom Phones and Plantronics CS510s for most folks. I'm the black sheep and have a Jabra 9465 and a softphone.
The Jabra does ok, but it docks weird and half the time I come into a dead headset. The plantronics have been rock solid, other than occasionally our phone system freaks out and overwrites the hookswitch settings.
Voipsupply is also a great vendor to deal with.

Anyone really like their over ear headset for calls? I can't stand the wire frame looking ones - in the SaaS space and I feel like those things make people think call center right out of the gate.

I have the standard plantronics wired model, but users are complaining that it tangles within a few days. You know those people who pick up a phone one way, put it down another, it twists, and somehow its our fault?
The only wireless headsets i've seen were 399 or more which is out of our budgets. Just wondering if anyone has found a cheaper alternative to those

I did a quick google for our primary headset - Jabra 9450. It looks like you can find them for around $180 if you look. My only beef is that after about a year they can't manage the whole workday uncharged. If you remember to charge it during lunch, though, you're good.
