Funny, I just bought these for my V10 max and loved the look and feel so much I bought another set for my V10 classic. Fwiw I tried standard Cherry profiles and XDAs at one point but hated the feel and went back to the OG OSAs. So having found these that feel nice was great! I didn't hear much difference between these and the OG Keychron key caps. Idk if the V series is different than the Q ones material wise. I know they are not the same as your post, but being the same manufacturer I can't see it being bad. sorry to necro, but to anyone that runs into this problem, check out Womier pudding keycaps on amazon; I find them to have a cleaner font than hyperx, and for 15 bucks you get 165 keycaps to fit virtually anything. I got the white for my V1 and they’re great, a tinyyy bit dim on the legends bc south facing but the color’s AMAZING and brighter than I expected. More on reddit.com

I had the same issue as you before I eventually settled on opaque ones because I hated the fonts on most of the shine through ones. I was really worried the lack of light would be an issue but it turns out to barely be a problem because even in the dark, there's enough light from my monitor and leaking out of the bottom of the keys that I can still see what I'm doing. That being said, try also searching using "backlit" because I would find some sellers would use that term instead of "shine through". More on reddit.com
