I don't work there, but just as general work advice, know your worth. Ask for what you want in regards to salary. Ask them for the salary range for the position. Changing jobs is difficult, and it needs to be worth your while. Don't sell your, or your time, short. If you want a $12k raise, ask for it. They don't let pay stop them from hiring you if they want you. Worst case, they'll offer you less, and then you decide if it's worth it for you. Best of luck! More on reddit.com

After a long (7mo) job search I suddenly received two offers on the same day. I’d have taken whichever came in first but now I have a choice.
They are both business process analyst jobs with the same pay and seemingly the same benefits. Same city. Both managers seemed great.
So it really comes down to what would be the better company to work for. What are their reputations? Why should I choose one over the other?
I’m new to the financial industry and have a background in industrial engineering, process improvement, process mapping, statistics. But from a different industry.

Obligatory: I’d be happy with either role if I only had one choice. But since each offer was given at the same time, I needed to make the best decision. I appreciate everyone’s input.
