Getting ready to pull the trigger on the famous Yardistry Gazebo from my local store. For those have have purchased this product do you have any complaints? Seems to be very few online but wanted to check before I purchased.

Installed the 12x14 gazebo in 2018, very happy with it. Only complaint is that the installation directions could be more clear, plus they could be rewritten to have you perform certain steps in the assembly more efficiently. But their online assembly videos are a big help.

I will complete building my 12 x 14 Yardistry Gazebo this weekend. What are some must have accessories for my new gazebo? Any tips or things I need to make sure to do to it? Do I need to stain it right away or do I need to wait a period of time before having to stain it?
It will be set on my concrete patio and I will be anchoring it down with 3/8’s x 3” anchor bolts. Other than that any other things I should consider adding to the gazebo?

The only tip I have as a employee that loads these things into vehicles. Bring an appropriate pick up truck or even a uHaul. You're about to drop $1400 or so on a gazebo. Pay an extra $100 or so for a uHaul if you don't have a large (F150 or bigger) truck. We've got them in smaller trucks, like tacomas or rangers but they don't fit as well. We are not allowed to secure the items we load to your vehicle, just get them on there. So if you're not confident with your tie down skills a uHaul is def recommended. These things are heavy.

October 27, 2021 - I made that choice because we almost never get high winds in my area (this year being the exception), plus it's in a very sheltered location, with buildings blocking the wind from two directions, and tree windbreaks in the other two directions. Which means those 65 mph winds were most likely much lower in the immediate vicinity of my gazebo. Yardistry rates them for 60 mph when anchored.

Curious what folks have done when installing the 12/14 yardistry gazebo for keeping it level? Assuming folks are shimming? Pictures or feedback would be great, getting ready to install on concrete patio and we defiantly have slight pitch which will require some shimming I’d imagine.

How much of a patio pitch? I installed mine on my 16x34 foot patio and didn't shim it at all. Everything was level and worked fine.

I'm installing the same gazebo and its on our concrete patio. The patio slopes away from the house so I need to shim up the end furthers away from the house. Did you end up using shims? If so, what material did you use? Thanks!
