I like to braise chicken in mine. I'm assuming since it's only 1qt you're cooking for yourself? You should be able to fit a thigh or a legquarter in that. I braise mine with red wine, honey, onion powder, and some bouillon cubes or powder, though I don't know how much to use for such a small batch. I have a 6qt I use for about 6 of us.

1 qt is basically the 16 (or 14) cm diameter I suppose? My 18 cm, 1.8 qt DO is capable for making soup for 2. Smaller than that should be only useful for single serving dish - which is fine too! The best LC feature is that you don’t need to plate your dish since LC DO is already beautiful and presentable 🙌🏽
