You and me both mate, the video tutorials on their channel are a joke, I just spent the last hour figuring out how to load some drums by reading the comments on one of the tutorial videos and now I’m stuck not even able to record any input once I’ve got beyond that obstacle. Tracks armed, midi input is correct click record and hit the pad for my first note/sequence and it doesn’t start recording. Feeling duped! More on reddit.com

I'm using an Akai APC Mini mk2 outside of Ableton and for the life of me I cannot find a guide to manually program the pad colors.
It's a completely custom setup where controller is plugged into an Arduino. I'd like to program the controller so that each pad lights up to a set color of my choosing each time it's powered on. And that's it - I don't need the pads to change colors or turn off each time I press them.
Is this possible and if so can someone show me how?

I’d think the Launchpad stuff might guide you. There’s components but before that we had to hack things.
