S-series: Ultrabook models derived from the E-series. I believe these became the ThinkBook line or consolidated into other ThinkPad lines.

The only thing that matters is the product labels - something that is written on some Lenovo website is not official if it isn't on the product. The website is just for marketing (and I believe they put the "i" there to make it easier to differentiate), and not even consistent.
