Hey guys, sorry if this question has been asked before.
I recently returned a $300 dollar amazon warehouse item, and my refund was "issued" on March 24. However, I still haven't received the payment on my debit card and I was wondering if I should call support?
I returned an item before, and the refund usually appears in my bank account the day the refund is issued, so I'm a little confused as to why it's taking so long now; is it because it was from amazon warehouse? Should I wait a week before calling them? I would appreciate any input.
EDIT: So on March 27th, I got the refund without having to call them. I recommend waiting around 3-5 days, and if you still don't get it, call support. It was unusual this time around as I had to wait a few days before getting the refund to show up in my bank account.

I'm pissed. I spent £103 on a wetsuit from amazon, which I had to return due to the fit not being right. I paid using my Visa debit card. I had requested the money refunded to this card, but after a week after the refund was issued, there was still no sign of it in my account! To cut a long story short, I contacted amazon customer "service" but it took 2 hours and my having to repeat myself several times to a variety of different agents before being informed that the refund had been added to my gift card balance. I argued that I wanted the refund to my bank card, but they insisted it was paid using gift card (I've never had a GC balance of £100+ ever),despite giving them documentary evidence of the transaction. No matter how much I argued, they wouldn't budge, so the £100 that I was relying on is sitting in their kitty instead of mine. I've informed them that this is unacceptable and that I won't be making any further high value purchases from them in future. I feel like I have been scammed but I'm not certain this is legal practice in the UK...any ideas??

Amazon has become worse lately. Earlier their service, delivery, and refund management was so much better. Now when we see a product it shows delivery in 1-2 days, when checking out it says "delivery date will be shared later", later after ordering it shows delivery date of 2 months from now, and suddenly you get a message after 4-5 days that it's out for delivery.
