July 17, 2015so i decided to collect every single vanilla armor set, and after couple of hours I have every pre-hard mode armor. Now time for HM (btw ancient cobalt armor took 2,5 hours)

May 10, 2020Ranged-only build is fun as hell
I'm an actual ranger main. And I use scout all the time. I use a 1/5/2 build and I put nearly all my points into blocking, since I can get enough elixirs from the ancient ruins to have at least 80+ ranged skill pints at the beginning of stage three. Before I started relying on elixirs, I'd stop investing points into a damage stat at around 100 points. At that point, the damage scaling is very minuscule and it's a waste of experience. I run with speed and I prefer to use phase guns over other types of weapons. Revolver rifles are nice. So are the electric revolvers that drop from robots in the abandoned lab. Shotguns and pistols with a 2 turn reload can be used in conjunction with an ammo bag or gunner shield to fire every turn and annihilate. This can burn through ammo quickly, though.
